Chocolate Venison is a delicious and succulent treat for your friends or a romantic evening.
Venison Steaks, Chocolate, Hawaiian Chili Pepper, butter, Hawaiian Salt, garlic, onions, nutmeg, cinnamon and kale.
Prep Sauce by melting chocolate with a spoonful of butter, add garlic powder, chili pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. Set aside at a low temperature.
Next Saute the venison steaks with a pat of butter, rosemary, Hawaiian salt and pepper and then set aside for 5 minutes to cool for a bit. (cook for about 4 minutes on each side)
Prepare Kale by slightly cooking in pan where venison was cooked, add fine minced garlic, then onions, next kale and salt and pepper. Cook slightly and quickly so it does not turn to mush.
Plate the Kale on a clean plate (prefer white for presentation sake), add a small amount of chocolate sauce beside the kale, place steak on top of sauce, then sprinkle more sauce over Steak. Serve with a Cabernet.
